The "Georgios M. Mihalos Foundation – Sustainability of Nisyros" NPO seeks through strategic partnerships, to highlight and protect the unique characteristics of the remote regions of Greece, both insular and mountainous, which are called upon to survive in an era of continuous crises and changing conditions.
By collaborating with esteemed recognized organizations from the fields of Science, Academia, and Civil Society, the "Georgios M. Mihalos Foundation – Sustainability of Nisyros" designs and implements actions aimed at promoting sustainable proposals and solutions for the protection of the natural environment and regional development, while respecting the unique characteristics of insularity and mountainous regions, always in agreement with the welfare and prosperity of their people.
