About the "Nisyros Dialogues" Satellite Editions

UNDER THE AUSPICES OF HIS ALL HOLINESS THE ECUMENICAL PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW

The «Nisyros Dialogues - Bridging the East-Med®» have now been established as a modern Think Tank and a Political Dialogue Platform with international partnerships, evolving — due to their geographical and thematic position — into a pivotal institution for the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.

The expectations have therefore increased, and remaining faithful to our vision to "Bridge" the Eastern Mediterranean, “Bridging the EastMed”, we are carrying the spirit of the «Nisyros Dialogues» and the «Dialogue» itself to new sites, promoting the exchange of ideas and cooperation globally, beyond Nisyros and Greece. We are moving forward by expanding our thematic meetings, organizing a series of prestigious satellite «Dialogues» in:

Doha, in cooperation with the Doha Forum (Dec 2025)
Athens (Jan 2026)
Brussels, at the European Parliament (Mar 2026)
Istanbul, in cooperation with His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch (May 2026)

At the same time, following our established practice, the central annual «Dialogues» in Nisyros have been scheduled for the first weekend of July, specifically from July 2 to July 5, 2026.

We are strengthening the international footprint of the «Dialogues» through collaborations with organizations and Think Tanks, such as the European Policy Centre (EPC) and the Doha Forum, aiming to carry the spirit and dynamism of the “Nisyros Dialogues” beyond Nisyros and Greece. Simultaneously, we are adding new and evolving existing partnerships with esteemed organizations such as: the Academy of Athens, the National Technical University of Athens, diaNEOsis Research & Policy Institute, the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), the Natural Environment & Climate Change Agency (N.E.C.C.A.) and the Hellenic Network of Resilient Cities (ELDAP), among others.

At the same time, the development of the Podcast series, "Nisyros Dialogues: the Podcast", which began in the summer and is hosted by the renowned journalist and political commentator, Pavlos Tsimas, continues. In the podcast, eminent personalities discuss current Eastern Mediterranean geopolitical issues and akritic island sustainable development, which strengthens the analysis and complements the «Dialogues».
