He was born in Corfu on 6 February 1945. He is married to Olga E. Pana, and
from his first marriage to Ioanna N. Grigoriadi he has three children: Spyros
(1970), Vanda (1972), and Nikos (1974). His parents are Spyros and Aspasia-
Maria Pierri, née of Antonios Kogevinas.
1951–1953: Primary School in Corfu.
1953–1957: Primary School at the Hellenic Educational Institute I. M.
Panagiotopoulos in Athens.
1957–1962: Gymnasium at the aforesaid institute. He graduated with
distinction in Mathematics and History.
1962: He succeeds in the entrance examinations of the Law School of Athens
and of Thessaloniki, and of Panteion University.
He ultimately chooses Economic Science and, in 1963, sits the entrance
examinations of ASOEE, where he takes second place out of 1,500
candidates.
1963–1965: He studied Economics (Economics Department, ASOEE) and
received a degree with the grade WITH MERIT.
1968–1969: Military service (Artillery), family breadwinner status.
1969: He marries his first wife, Ioanna N. Grigoriadi, with whom he has the
three children mentioned above.
1970–1972: He worked in various departments of the company Kerameiki
Cedit AV.E.E
1972–1980: Chairman and Managing Director of the commercial and
industrial food company IONIKAI EPIHEIRISEIS A.E.V.E.
1976–1978: Vice-Chairman of the company KAZINA ELLADOS.
1980 and thereafter: he engaged in writing articles and in translating books,
such as the three-volume work by John Julius Norwich, BYZANTIUM, the
autobiography of Elia Kazan A LIFE, the life and defection from the Soviets of
the diplomat Arkady Shevchenko (“Breaking with Moscow”), and others.
Editor of the magazine Penthouse, editor-in-chief of the political review Proti
Grammi which collaborated with Radio Free Europe, regular contributor to
magazines of the Greek diaspora and to the magazine Kifisos.
1992: Publisher, co-owner, with Anastasia David, of the publishing company
Intered.

1976: He is elected a founding member of the newly established Kolonaki
Local Committee of New Democracy.
1984: He is elected Neighbourhood Councillor of Kifisia.
1987–1990: Municipal Councillor of Kifisia (under Mayor Vasilis Gatsopoulos,
responsible for cultural affairs).
1994–2001: Press and Public Relations Adviser to the mayors of Kifisia

Konstantinos Tasoulas (now President of the Hellenic Republic) and Vasilis
Varsos.

He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the company IPCA and
collaborated with the A. G. Leventis Foundation and the Hellenic Navy
General Staff (battleship museum G. Averof, in which he took part in the
organisation of historical exhibitions).
From 2002 to the present (2025) he has been engaged in writing the history of
well-known Greek families.
Member of the Boards of Directors of the Benakeio Foundation of Kifisia, the
organisation of Princess Katherine of Serbia Life Line, and the Society of
Friends of the Archaeological Museum of Kifisia, former Vice-President of the
Association for the Protection of Kifisia, member of the Heraldic and
Genealogical Society of Greece.
